Well, I think that we have finally adjusted back to Tulsa time. (excuse the cheesy link)
What an adventure we had in Germany. It was great fun it to reconnect with our German friends, be used as an instrument of blessing into the lives of the churches there, and build up the local church worship teams. Also, I am so glad that we were able to give our girls the experience of overseas ministry at a young age. Thank you to my friends at Oase Gemeinde (Oasis Community Church) Schönebeck and Freie Christengemeinde (Free Christian Fellowship) Quedlinburg for opening your homes, your dinner tables (SUCH GOOD FOOD), your churches, and your lives to us! So, as promised, here are some fun pictures from our trip! Click on the pictures to open slideshow.
She slept like a rock!
Ruth fought sleep valiantly, but in the end, slept so hard she snored.
This is the courtyard where we stayed, with the pastor of the Schönebeck church… beautiful old farmhouse in Biere, DE.
Pretty, isn’t it?

Pentecost Sunday at Oase Gemeinde! In Germany, Pentecost is a national holiday… they even get Monday off work!
One thing the Germans do exceedingly well: Cook out. 2 kinds of Bratwurst, Pork steaks, YUM!
Spending time with the people in the church.

One of our good friends, Dirk.

These homes are ~400 years old, and structurally sound!
Again, new roads meet 400 year old homes.
This castle/Abbey/fortress was operational in the year 936. That was a long long time ago.
