And now for the part you been waiting for!!
Often times artists’ work reflects their own personal stories. In the same way, the music that musicians have written from the classics all the way through today reflect their own experiences, emotions, feelings, and reflections.
When I get reflective, or need time to think and process, I do so at the piano usually. This song, “The journey,” is just that. This isn’t a composition, as most would call it, it’s more of an expression of my feelings, thoughts, and emotions in this moment. It’s a glimpse into what my own personal quiet time looks like. I hope you enjoy, but more than that, I hope it inspires you to reflect on your own story-to remember the ups and downs; the times you’ve gone there and come back.
